This Bulma S.H. Figuarts, released in 2018 as a Tamashii Web Exclusive, is inspired by one of the manga covers and the ending of the classic Dragon Ball series, marking the character's first figure within the brand. Featuring an original sculpt and a 1.5 body, the figure comes packed with accessories: Dragon Radar, glasses, Dragon Ball, submachine gun, and plenty of interchangeable hands.
This articulated Bulma figure was released in 2018 as a Tamashii Web Exclusive, and it was the 58th release in the Dragon Ball S.H. Figuarts collection.
It is also the first figure the brand launched of this almost-protagonist character from the franchise. For this first Bulma figure, Tamashii Nations drew inspiration from the Classic Saga of the series, referencing the ending theme from that time, where we see the inventor of the Dragon Radar in a biker outfit with a submachine gun. This same image was featured on one of the tankōbon covers of the original DB manga. For comparison, you can check the images in the gallery.
The articulation system is quite similar to that of Android 18, blending the 1.0 and 2.0 systems, known as 1.5, which results in excellent mobility for female figures without losing their "shape."
The sculpting is top-notch, and the accessories are also impressive, as nothing is missing: submachine gun, glasses, radar, Dragon Ball, plenty of hands, and multiple faces. It's truly a fantastic figure.
In 2019, the figure was re-released with an Event Exclusive Color Edition, where the only difference is the colors, as this edition features the manga's colors instead of those from the anime.
From listacompletade.com, this is a figure we recommend, but only if you find it at a good price. As for which version is better, we leave that up to you, as the only difference is the color scheme.
If you'd like to see it in more detail through an unboxing, we've linked the video from the Tamashii Nations Spain YouTube channel, where they showcase it with great enthusiasm.
