The Dragon Ball S.H. Figuarts line of articulated figures holds the honor of being the pinnacle of its range, both for its sculpting and quality, featuring over 30 points of articulation and more than 200 releases, including both regular and exclusive versions. Discover here why it is the best with our detailed information and curated lists.
S.H. Figuarts are a line of 1/12 scale (approximately 6") articulated figures created by the Japanese manufacturer Tamashii Nations. They stand out for their quality, sculpting, accessories, and, of course, the number and engineering of their articulations. The line includes franchises such as Naruto, Marvel, Bleach, and, of course, Dragon Ball.
When focusing on their "league" of 6" articulated figures, their only real competitor is Bandai's Dragon Stars Series. However, that collection has a more toy-oriented approach, lacking the same level of articulation and detailed sculpting.
First, there are over 200 S.H. Figuarts Dragon Ball releases, most of which are out of print since they were limited or exclusive editions. If you want to collect everything Tamashii has released in this line, it can be quite expensive.
Second, this line has three types of editions: Exclusive, Limited, and Regular.
Third, this line continues to release new figures almost every two months. As of today, regular releases are priced around 30$, while limited editions are more expensive at launch and increase in value over time. Exclusives, on the other hand, tend to be expensive from the start.
Those questions and many more came to our minds because we couldn’t find any portal that provided all this information at a glance. That’s one of the reasons why listacompletade.com was created.
To answer these questions, we have created a complete list or checklist featuring numbered figures, their release year, edition type, name, body type, saga, and a dedicated page for each figure with images and detailed explanations.
Additionally, we also have lists focused exclusively on figures from each saga and others dedicated to specific characters.
Here you will see some of the more than 200 S.H. Figuarts releases that Tamashii Nations has brought us from Dragon Ball.
