This S.H. Figuarts of Son Goku "Kid Era" "Adventure Begins", released exclusively as a Tamashii Features item in 2020, is a figure that reuses the sculpt and accessories from the event-exclusive Kid Goku of 2019, but with fewer interchangeable accessories and slightly less intense tones in the color of his outfit.
This articulated figure of Son Goku "Kid Era" "Adventure Begins" was released exclusively in 2020 as part of the Tamashii Features line, being the 84th figure in the Dragon Ball S.H. Figuarts collection.
This is the second release of a Kid Goku figure based on the first arc or saga of the original Dragon Ball—the first adventure where Goku and Bulma meet. The first release came in 2019 as an Event Exclusive Color Edition.
In fact, this figure is a clone with fewer accessories than the 2019 release, as it includes fewer faceplates, fewer hands, and one less tail. However, it did launch at a lower price.
Regarding its mold, articulation architecture, and sculpt, it uses the same structure as the first Kid Goku released in 2018—a Kid 1.0 architecture (based on 2.0)—with a scale that leaves much to be desired, as these figures appear too large when placed next to adult characters.
From listacompletade.com, this is a figure we only recommend to completionists, since the release of Dragon Ball Daima has brought significant improvements to the design and scale of child figures, and these Kid Gokus are due for a redesign.
