This S.H. Figuarts Bulma 'Event Exclusive Color Edition', released in 2019 during the 'DB Docks at Hong Kong Times Square', is a re-release of the figure originally launched in 2018, but this time based on the cover of volume 10 of the original Dragon Ball manga. Just like the original, the figure comes loaded with accessories and features an exceptional design.
This articulated figure 'Bulma -Event Exclusive Color Edition-' was released in 2019 and sold exclusively during the 'DB Docks at Hong Kong Times Square' event that same year. It is also the 74th figure in the Dragon Ball S.H. Figuarts collection.
This is an 'Exclusive Event' figure, and like all figures of this type released up until that point, it was a re-release of a previously launched figure. In this case, this Bulma figure is a re-release of the figure from the previous year, 2018, but with color variations. While the original was based on the colors and images seen in one of the first endings of the Dragon Ball anime, this variant is based on the cover of volume 10 of the original Dragon Ball manga. In the image gallery, you can see both the manga cover and an image from the anime ending.
The sculpting is very good, even though it is reused, and the 1.5 articulation system is quite functional for the figure. The accessories are the same as the original and quite a few, ranging from the Dragon Radar and a machine gun to one of the Dragon Balls.
What stands out the most about this figure is that it is based on the manga colors, with Bulma having purple hair instead of blue, making it a preferred version for many more purist manga collectors.
From listacompletade.com, we recommend this figure, but only if you find it at a good price. When deciding which version is better, that is up to you, as the only difference between them is the colors.
If you'd like to see it in more detail in an unboxing, we recommend checking out the video on the Tamashii Nations Spain YouTube channel, where they showcase it with great enthusiasm.
