This S.H. Figuarts – Great Ape Vegeta 'Exclusive Edition', released exclusively for SDCC 2025, brings back the Saiyan prince in his Oozaru form as seen in DBZ. The figure is a re-release of the 2020 version, featuring a recolor more faithful to the anime, but with removed accessories such as Yajirobe and the hands used to grab Goku.
This articulated figure —Great Ape Vegeta 'Exclusive Edition'— was released in 2025 as an event-exclusive, specifically for SDCC (San Diego Comic Con), and is figure number 194 in the Dragon Ball S.H. Figuarts collection.
Like most event-exclusive releases, this is a re-release of a highly popular older figure with a recolor and some changes, additions, or removals.
This exclusive release is precisely a re-release of the highly sought-after —Great Ape Vegeta— from 2020, with the same design, sculpt, and special 3.0 body articulation system. It still measures about 30 cm tall, maintaining an inaccurate scale but remaining one of the tallest figures in the collection.
The main differences with the original version are three: first, the coloring, which now has more intense tones closer to what we saw in the Dragon Ball Z anime during his battle against Goku. Second, two accessories were removed: it no longer includes the small Yajirobe figure cutting the tail of this Oozaru, nor the pair of hands crushing Goku. Also, the base was black before and now is sand-colored to serve as a diorama. Third and last is the box, which features the typical 'Exclusive Edition' design.
From listacompletade.com, we recommend this figure 100%, unless you already have the original, since the original is almost impossible to find new at a reasonable price. This release gives more options to get this Great Ape Vegeta.
