This S.H. Figuarts -Majin Vegeta-, released as an 'Exclusive Edition' for San Diego Comic-Con 2023, brings back the 2018 figure with the same body, sculpt, and accessories, but with a more vibrant recoloring. His hair is translucent, his faceplates have been improved, and it also includes a ki aura effect with Super Saiyan 2 lightning.
This articulated figure —Majin Vegeta— was released in 2023 as an 'Exclusive Edition' and sold exclusively at that year’s San Diego Comic-Con (SDCC). It is also the 151st figure in the S.H. Figuarts Dragon Ball collection.
Like most event-exclusive figures, this release is a reissue of the 2018 'Majin Vegeta' with updated paint, improvements, and an extra accessory. This version of Vegeta represents his appearance in Dragon Ball Z, during the Majin Buu saga, when Babidi attempts to possess him—turning him into what we see here.
Its design, sculpt, and 2.0 body are identical to the original, but with differences in coloring: this time with paler skin, more vibrant clothing, semi-translucent hair, and fully upgraded facial expressions. In terms of accessories, this figure includes everything from the original release, plus a ki aura effect with lightning to properly recreate the SSJ2 transformation. This same effect was also included with the -Super Saiyan 2 Son Goku 'Exclusive Edition'- figure released in 2022.
According to listacompletade.com, this figure is recommended over the original—as long as it's available at a reasonable price—since, as of 2025, no other Majin Vegeta figure has been released by Tamashii.
