This S.H. Figuarts "Whis 'Event Exclusive Color Edition'", released exclusively for sale at Comic Con @ Home 2021, is essentially a re-release of the 2016 figure. It uses the same mold and sculpt, includes the same accessories, and the only notable differences are the packaging and the colors used for this Dragon Ball Super character.
This articulated Whis figure was released exclusively for Comic Con @ Home 2021 with an 'Event Exclusive Color Edition' run, making it the 105th figure in the S.H. Figuarts Dragon Ball collection.
Comic Con @ Home was the name given to the SDCC events while we faced mobility and social distancing restrictions due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
Like most event-exclusive figures, this is a re-release of the 2018 Whis figure, maintaining the sculpt, body, and accessories, but changing the packaging and recoloring it, now with more intense tones than the original.
Its articulation system is 'special', as although it may seem close to the 2.0, it doesn’t exactly fall under any particular category and is a unique design for the character. One standout accessory is a hand with a spoon.
The character is from Dragon Ball Super, the angel who accompanies the Destroyer God, and the brand has not released another figure of this character until now (2025).
From Listacompletade.com, we only recommend this figure if you find it at a good price, as it is now discontinued and, as of today, deserves a new version.
In addition to all this, if you'd like to see an unboxing with a comparison, I invite you to watch the video from our friend on the YouTube channel El Cuarto 4to Gamer MX, who shows it to us with great detail.
