This S.H. Figuarts of Captain Ginyu from 2020 and regular release is based on DBZ, the Namek saga, and brings us a figure with a 3.0 body and a 100% original sculpt. Among its accessories, notable pieces allow you to swap parts of his armor, enabling you to add or remove the battle damage appearance on the character.
This articulated Ginyu figure was released in 2020 with a regular release, being the 88th figure in the Dragon Ball S.H. Figuarts collection.
This is the first and only figure released to date (2025) of this character from the Namek saga of Dragon Ball Z. Additionally, it is the first of the five characters from the Special Forces of Frieza to have a figure, and the only one with a regular release and potential for re-stock. Jiece, Reecome, Burter, and Guldo also have figures released by the brand, but they are 'Tamashii Web Exclusive' releases.
Its design and sculpt are original, as few characters resemble this alien. For its articulation system, it features the 3.0, but the waist-chest joint has a greater range compared to others, allowing for the signature group pose, where he is seen with his back turned, looking through his legs (an example is shown in the image gallery).
Regarding accessories, they are nothing out of the ordinary, except for one novelty that had not been seen in any figure before this one: the replacement parts for the battle armor to give it a battle-damaged appearance. This same replacement technology is used in the 2022 Krillin with armor figure.
According to listacompletade.com, it is a figure we recommend if you like the Namek saga and this character, and if you can find it at a good price or grab it in a re-stock.
Apart from all this, if you'd like to see an unboxing with a comparison, we invite you to watch the video from our friend Andoru Rohan on YouTube, who shows it off with great enthusiasm.
