The S.H. Figuarts Trunks 'Xenoverse Edition' is a limited edition released in 2017 to promote the "Xenoverse 2" game for consoles and PC. It’s a figure with an all-new design, decent accessories (double hair piece and sword), but it lacks mobility in the legs due to the skirts of the jacket, which is truly a shame.
The Trunks 'Xenoverse Edition' figure was released in 2017 with a regular run but limited units, making it the 37th release in the Dragon Ball S.H. Figuarts collection.
This figure, along with the Time Patroller from the same year, was the first to be based on a Dragon Ball video game. Until these two, all figures had been based on the Anime/Manga.
Its run was regular but limited — what does that mean? It was regular because its distribution was the same as any other regular figure, but limited like exclusives, as only a certain number were made and there was no re-stock.
The figure features an all-new sculpt and doesn’t reuse any parts from previous Trunks figures. It theoretically uses the 2.0 articulation system, but it has a major flaw: the 'skirt' from the coat, which is made of almost rigid rubber, preventing the character’s hips and knees from being able to bend. It’s really a shame because, in terms of accessories and design, it’s not a bad figure.
At Listacompletade.com, we don’t recommend this figure unless you're a completist or a fan of this video game, as it’s discontinued, and its low mobility makes it hard to pose.
However, if you want to see the figure, check out the video we’ve left from the YouTube channel El Cuarto 4to Gamer MX, where they show it off and compare it with other Trunks figures.
