This 2021 S.H. Figuarts Super Saiyan 4 Son Goku is the first figure released by Tamashii from Dragon Ball GT, and it’s also the first Goku to feature a 3.0 articulation system. Its design and sculpt are 100% original for this transformation of the character, and among its accessories, the standout is a Kamehameha effect piece.
This articulated Super Saiyan 4 Son Goku figure was released in 2021 as a regular edition and has had several restocks since. It is the 115th figure in the Dragon Ball S.H. Figuarts collection.
It’s the first figure Tamashii Nations released from Dragon Ball GT, and also the first Goku figure to feature a 3.0 articulation system.
Its design and sculpt are 100% original. This is the first Goku figure since the 2017 Super Saiyan 3 release that doesn’t reuse the 2.0 body sculpt found in most other Goku figures. This is because the SSJ4 transformation has a very different design and uses the new 3.0 joint system. The design and sculpt are extremely well executed.
As an extra design detail, the hair has three points of articulation, allowing for dynamic posing.
In terms of accessories, this is a well-rounded figure: it comes with 6 pairs of hands, an articulated tail, and a ki effect (Kamehameha).
With the release of Dragon Ball Daima, a “new SSJ4” designed by Toriyama himself appeared, and as of 2025, a mini SSJ4 Goku figure based on that design has been released.
At listacompletade.com, we recommend this figure—especially if you’re a DBGT fan or can find it at a good price or during a restock pre-order. It’s a solid figure with great articulation, though it could eventually be surpassed by a potential “adult” Daima Goku in the same transformation.
