The S.H. Figuarts of Super Saiyan Vegeta released in 2016 is the second version of this character in his battle armor, part of the Dragon Ball Z collection from Tamashii Nations. This version features a new sculpt and the updated 2.0 articulation system, which greatly enhances its poseability.
It is a regular release figure that was re-stocked several times, with a new version, version 3, launched in 2023, offering slight improvements in sculpt, paint, and face designs.
This is the second of three versions based on the DBZ Cell Saga with this outfit. The first version, released in 2011, featured a 1.0 body and was later re-released in 2015 as a Premium Color Edition.
The key improvements in the 2016 version include the 2.0 articulation system and the updated sculpt, which is expected to be reused for future figures, at least until the Vegeta from Daima in 2025.
As a regular release, the figure doesn't stand out in terms of accessories, featuring the typical 4 faces, 4 pairs of hands, and the iconic crossed arms of Vegeta.
