This 2025 S.H. Figuarts - Vegeta ‘Daima’ brings us the adult (non-shrunken) version of Vegeta as seen in the controversial Dragon Ball Daima series. The figure features a completely new design and sculpt, incorporating the 3.5 articulation system. It includes two hair pieces and stands out for not reusing the 2.0 body, instead introducing a brand-new mold.
This articulated figure – Vegeta 'Daima' – was released in 2025 as a regular edition, allowing for multiple restocks over the years. It is figure number 189 in the Dragon Ball S.H. Figuarts collection.
Looking at all the Vegeta figures Tamashii Nations has released for the line, the first 2.0 body mold appeared in 2016 with Super Saiyan Vegeta. It wasn’t until this 2025 release that the brand finally gave us a 100% original new mold for the character with a different body type. The evolution of Vegeta figures had been stagnant until this launch, where both the body and design are entirely new.
This version of the character is based on Dragon Ball Daima in his 'adult' form. The design and sculpt are completely new and faithful to what we saw in the controversial animated series. In terms of articulation, this figure features what can be considered a 4.0 body, except for the chest, which remains segmented—thus we classify it as 3.5. That segmented chest, combined with the increased mobility of the new body architecture, results in a visibly noticeable gap.
The figure includes typical regular-release accessories: several hands and faces, a crossed-arms piece, and notably, a second hair piece with a wind or motion effect.
From listacompletade.com, we could recommend this figure to everyone, but we suggest it mainly to completists and fans of Daima. Now that we finally have a new body mold for Vegeta, it’s only a matter of time before we get a Z or Super version using this articulation system.
