This S.H. Figuarts 'Kame-Sennin', released in 2018, is the brand's first figure of Master Roshi, featuring a 2.0-style body specially modified to suit the size and clothing of the old hermit. Additionally, it came loaded with all the essential accessories, such as the shell, sunglasses, staff, and even the One-Star Dragon Ball.
This 'Kame-Sennin' figure was released in 2018 as a Tamashii Web Exclusive, being figure number 53 in the S.H. Figuarts Dragon Ball collection.
It is the first figure Tamashii Nations has released of Master Roshi, and for this first version, they have launched it with his most iconic appearance and attire from the classic Dragon Ball. Additionally, it is the second figure they’ve released from this DB saga; the first was Kid Goku from 2018.
Its design and sculpting are 100% new and original for this figure. Moreover, its joint architecture, although based on the 2.0, has been specially adapted for this body.
The accessories are one of the best features of the figure, as it includes a stand, the shell for his back, removable sunglasses that can be placed on any of the faces, and hands with gestures specifically designed for the poses and inappropriate looks of this perverted martial arts master.
There is another figure of this character, but of his alter ego 'Jakie Chun', released in 2020, which reuses the joint architecture. Other than that, the brand has not released more figures of the master of Goku, Krillin, and Yamcha to date.
From listacompletade.com, we highly recommend this figure 100% whenever you find it at a decent price, as it is definitely worth having Goku’s Sensei.
If you want to see an unboxing of the figure, you can watch the video we've prepared from the YouTube channel Andoru Rohan, who shows it to us with great pleasure.
