This 2020 S.H. Figuarts 'Chi-Chi -Kid Era-' is the first figure released by the brand of Goku's wife, based on her first appearance in the classic Dragon Ball. Its sculpt is 100% original, and its articulation system is the 1.0 from kid figures, but in a female version. It doesn't come with many accessories, but it is one of the few figures that includes a stand.
This articulated Chi-Chi -Kid Era- figure was released in 2020 as a Tamashii Web Exclusive and is the 90th figure in the Dragon Ball S.H. Figuarts collection.
This is the first release of this character (and the only one to date, 2025), and for her first figure, the brand based it on the first arc of the classic Dragon Ball. We see Goku’s wife as a child, just like in her first appearance when she accompanies Goku to Master Roshi's house to get the magic fan to put out the flames on Mount Frypan.
Her design and sculpt are 100% new, as there is no other female character with a child body, and for the articulation system, they used the one designed for the 2018 Goku Kid, which we refer to as 'Kid 1.0', but adapted to a female body.
It is a figure that doesn't include many accessories, but it stands out for having the helmet 'weapon' that is removable and usable as an accessory, and it is one of the few figures in the brand to include a stand.
Her scale is one of the issues, as while next to the 2018 Goku Kid figure, they seem to be 'scaled' correctly, when placed next to an adult character, the scale is off; the figure is too tall. Another issue, and the worst of all, is her cape; it's a smooth plastic piece without any sculpting, and it looks like a piece of paper with no flow or form.
From listacompletade.com, we recommend this figure only to classic DB fans and completists, as with the release of the 'mini DB Daima' figures, this one could benefit from a redesign.
