This S.H. Figuarts – Frieza Third Form from 2023 brings us the villain in his third transformation, just as seen in Dragon Ball Z. Its design and sculpt are completely new and incredibly well done. Additionally, the 3.0 body is very well implemented without sacrificing articulation, and despite its size and shape, the figure has excellent stability.
This articulated figure – Frieza Third Form – was released in 2023 as a Tamashii Web Exclusive, being figure number 155 in the Dragon Ball S.H. Figuarts collection.
This is the first and only figure, as of 2025, that the brand has released of this transformation of the character, just as we saw in the Namek saga of Dragon Ball Z.
With this release, the brand completes the four forms of Frieza seen in DBZ: Frieza First Form in 2021, Frieza Second Form in 2023, and Frieza Fourth Form in 2022. You can see a photo of all four in the image gallery. In 2024, they released the final appearance of this villain on Namek: Full Power Frieza, the form he used to fight Super Saiyan Goku.
The figure’s design and sculpt are entirely new and original. Additionally, its hollow head and horns give it extra stability. Its joint system is the 3.0 body, implemented flawlessly, offering mobility other figures would envy. Due to its design, it also has joints that human figures don’t, like one in the wrists.
Its accessories might seem like a lot, but they’re fairly basic: although it includes two heads, they’re identical except for the eyebrows. Of the three faces, two are for one head and one is for the other—they’re not interchangeable. However, the ki blast effect is very well made, designed to fit firmly into the pointing hands.
From listacompletade.com, this is a figure we recommend 100%, as long as you find it at a good price. And if you want to own all of Frieza’s forms, this one is essential.
