The 2017 S.H. Figuarts Yamcha was the first figure released of this character, based on the Saiyan Saga. It had a Tamashii Web Exclusive release and featured a new sculpt with a 2.0 body for this character. Among its accessories, the most notable is the inclusion of a semi-articulated Saibaman figure, allowing you to recreate his tragic battle.
The 2017 S.H. Figuarts Yamcha was released as a Tamashii Web Exclusive and is the 46th release in the S.H. Figuarts Dragon Ball collection.
This is the first Yamcha figure released by Tamashii Nations, based on the Saiyan Saga, which is why you’ll find him with the Turtle School kanji and long hair. The figure also comes with a Saibaman accessory, which clearly references the tragic battle he faced. His second figure, based on the Androids and Cell Saga, was released in 2024, and as of 2025, no further figures of this character have been announced.
While the sculpt might seem like a reused version of Goku's, it’s actually 100% new. It is larger in scale, and the shoes and chest plate are unique to Yamcha and not reused from any Goku 2.0 figures.
The accessories are standard (4 pairs of hands and 4 faces), but the most standout feature is the inclusion of a scaled Saibaman figure, which comes with slightly articulated arms, allowing you to recreate the battle scene between the Desert Bandit and the plant humanoid.
From listacompletade.com, we recommend this figure since, as of 2025, no other long-haired Yamcha figure from this saga has been released or redesigned. So, if you find it at a good price, don’t hesitate to grab it.
