This articulated figure, 'Ultimate Son Gohan -Event Exclusive Color Edition-', was released in 2019, exclusively for sale at the 'DB World Adventure' events. It is also the 70th release in the Dragon Ball S.H. Figuarts collection.
This figure is an 'Event Exclusive Color Edition', and like all releases in its series up to that year, it is a re-release of a previous figure with some recoloring or improvement. This Gohan figure is a variant of the one released in 2015, featuring more intense colors and, as an extra, a Super Saiyan hair sculpt and faces for that form.
The figure has a sculpt and body architecture that was already outdated when the original version was released in 2015, as it uses the 1.0 body. This was a major disappointment for collectors.
Among all the SHF Gohan figures, this one and the 2015 release are the ones that, according to listacompletade.com, we would never recommend. Although, as of 2025, there is still no other adult Gohan version with this outfit, sooner or later, a new version will be released with an updated design and the latest articulation technology.
