This S.H. Figuarts – Vegeta "24000 Power Level" from 2024 brings us a new version of the Saiyan prince wearing the battle armor seen during the first part of the Namek Saga. The figure features 2.0 articulation, a completely new sculpt for this version, and an improved height scale compared to other 2.0 Vegeta figures.
This articulated figure – Vegeta ‘24000 Power Level’ – was released in 2024 as a Tamashii Web Exclusive and is figure number 169 in the Dragon Ball S.H. Figuarts collection.
If we review all Vegeta figures released, there are several with battle armor, but only two models feature battle armor with shoulder pads, both based on the Saiyan Saga of Dragon Ball Z and Vegeta’s first appearance. The first model with a 1.0 body came out in 2013 named Vegeta, which had a re-edition Original Animation Color Edition for SDCC 2014. The second model is the popularly known Vegeta Scouter from 2017, already with a 2.0 body.
This new version is based on the Namek Saga, specifically the first half, where Vegeta wears battle armor with shoulder pads but no skirt, the main visual difference in clothing between both versions.
For design and sculpting, nothing was reused from other 2.0 Vegeta figures; the body, faces, and hair are completely new, highlighting the originality and detail of the face and hair. The articulation system is 2.0, but for the shoulder pads, they implemented a more modern system similar to Turles from 2023.
Regarding accessories, for a Tamashii Web Exclusive, it’s somewhat scarce, with only some hands and faces included. However, the left ear and scouter are interchangeable among all faces, and the crossed arms use a new joint system from the butterfly joint that can split in half to facilitate swapping.
A few months after this release, the Kyewi figure came out, which includes an extra face and hand for this Vegeta figure.
An unlicensed figure company, Demoniacal Fit, which clones Tamashii Nations figures with good quality, released the Scarlet Martial Artist ‘16,000 Power Level’, cloning Son Goku Kaio-Ken ‘180,000 Power Level’, but changing the kanji to place it in the Saiyan Saga instead of Namek, like the original. Notably, this Demoniacal figure includes a soft rubber skirt accessory for this Vegeta, allowing recreation of the Saiyan Saga look with this figure.
From listacompletade.com, this figure is recommended if you’re a Vegeta fan, as its expressions and hair are very unique among all Vegeta figures released, especially if you plan to get the 2024 Kyewi figure.
