This S.H. Figuarts Raditz, released in 2021, was a highly anticipated figure by many, featuring incredible design and sculpting, and utilizing the 3.0 articulation system — but it suffered from notably poor quality control. It's a moderately large figure with proper scale, though it’s quite lacking in accessories. Its most notable feature is that it includes two tails.
This articulated figure of Raditz was released in 2021 as a Tamashii Web Exclusive, being figure number 99 in the Dragon Ball S.H. Figuarts collection.
This is the first release of this figure of Goku's brother, taken from the beginning of DBZ, the Saiyan saga.
Its design and sculpt are original, but somewhat similar to what we saw in Captain Ginyu or Recoome. It also reuses the scouter system for the faces, which was first introduced in the Bardock figure.
Its articulation system is 3.0, which should provide excellent mobility, but... this figure had major quality control issues, and a large percentage of the figures come with very stiff joints, making them not move as they should, limiting movement or leaving visible gaps.
As for its accessories, apart from the faces, hands, and a pair of crossed arms, two stand out: a piece that attaches to the back to pose the figure on a stand (the same piece we saw in Jeice), and two tails: one to be worn like a belt, and the other to be placed loosely in motion.
In 2023, exclusively for events, they released Raditz & Son Gohan -kid- 'Exclusive Edition', a pack that included this same recolored figure, fixing quality issues, and with a semi-articulated mini figure of Kid Gohan.
At listacompletade.com, we only recommend this figure to completists. Before buying this one, look for the event version if you find it at a good price.
