This 2018 S.H. Figuarts of 'Majin Buu'—the 'good' or 'fat' version—features a body and joint system specially designed for this large-bodied character with short limbs. It's one of the best-scaled figures by the brand, and also one of the largest released to date. One standout accessory is his chocolate bar.
This articulated figure of Majin Buu was first released in 2018 with a regular run and has had several re-stocks since then. It is also figure number 57 in the Dragon Ball S.H. Figuarts collection.
Based on Dragon Ball Z, this figure represents the 'fat' or 'good' version of the character. Due to its unique design, with a large, bulky body and short limbs, Tamashii Nations developed a body and joint system inspired by the 2.0, but specially adapted for this character, achieving surprisingly good mobility.
Regarding the sculpt, there’s nothing to criticize: it's made with a lot of detail and care. However, in terms of accessories, it is somewhat limited, as it includes only a few interchangeable hands and faces. The most notable accessory is a chocolate bar, which can be held with one of the included pairs of hands.
An interesting fact is that, in addition to this 'good' version, a figure of its evil counterpart—Majin Buu ‘Evil’, also known as Super Buu—was released in 2019.
At listacompletade.com, we wholeheartedly recommend this figure: first, because it's a regular edition and can be found at a good price in one of its re-stocks; and second, because to date (2025), the only other figure representing this version of the character is an event-exclusive from 2022.
