This 2022 S.H. Figuarts 'Frieza Fourth Form' is the third release of this character in this transformation. It reuses the body and accessories from previous releases but features a repaint, fewer interchangeable accessories, and a focus on DBZ—hence the inclusion of a Namekian Dragon Ball.
This 'Frieza Fourth Form' figure was released in 2022 as a regular edition and has had several restocks since then. It is figure number 120 in the Dragon Ball S.H. Figuarts collection.
This is the third release that Tamashii Nations and Bandai have made of this character in this form or transformation. The first was in 2013 as 'Final Form Frieza', based on DBZ, and the second in 2018 as 'Frieza', based on DB Super. This third version is also based on DBZ.
All three figures share the same mold, sculpt, and some accessories. The most complete is the 2013 version, which included a rock-shaped stand and a battle-damaged face. The 2018 version replaced that face with one that could have a halo added to make him look dead, as seen in Super. This latest 2022 release includes far fewer accessories than the 2018 one, and it’s unclear why—especially since it’s based on DBZ, yet still includes the face and halo...
All three figures have different recolors, even if only in the tone of white used. This latest version also has the best finish when it comes to facial details.
From listacompletade.com, we 100% recommend this figure—first, because it's a regular release and relatively affordable, and second, because it's Frieza’s most iconic form.
