This S.H. Figuarts -Broly -40th Anniversary Reissue Edition- from 2025 arrives because the 2014 Broly was the most voted for re-release for the DB franchise’s 40th anniversary. Essentially, it is exactly the same figure we had in 2014, with the same joints, faces, and everything, but it includes a 40th commemorative stand.
This articulated figure -Broly '40th Anniversary Reissue Edition'- was released in 2025 as a Tamashii Web Exclusive, and is also figure number 203 in the Dragon Ball S.H. Figuarts collection.
For the 40th anniversary of the Dragon Ball franchise, Tamashii Nations held a poll for collectors to choose among several discontinued figures to be re-released for this event. The two chosen were -Cooler Final Form 2021- and -Broly 2014-, both from the Dragon Ball Z movies.
That is why the design and sculpt of this figure are identical to the original 2014 version, which had several exclusive re-editions with varying colors. This reissue is identical to the 2014 one, with the added inclusion of a commemorative 40th anniversary stand.
Its joint system remains 1.5, which in 2025—when the 4.0 body had already been announced with the adult Goku figure from Daima—shows its age, despite being an incredibly good and popular figure.
From listacompletade.com, we recommend this figure if you don’t have the original or any of its exclusive event versions, as it is one of the most iconic figures in the whole collection, especially considering 11 years have passed between this release and the original.
