This S.H. Figuarts – Jiren 'Final Battle' 'Exclusive Edition' was released exclusively during SDCC 2024. The figure is a re-release of the one from 2020: same design and sculpt, same 3.0 articulation system, and same accessories, but with metallic recoloring on the outfit and shading throughout the skin.
This articulated figure – Jiren 'Final Battle' 'Exclusive Edition' was released in 2024 exclusively for San Diego Comic-Con (SDCC), becoming figure number 170 in the S.H. Figuarts Dragon Ball collection.
As with most Exclusive Event releases, this Jiren figure is a re-release of the 2020 Jiren 'Final Battle' figure, with the only differences being the recoloring and the packaging.
This marks the third release of a figure for this character from the Tournament of Power in Dragon Ball Super: the first was the 2020 Jiren in his full outfit; the second was the mentioned Final Battle version, showing Jiren in the final stage of the multiversal tournament, at full power and battle-damaged.
As already mentioned, the sculpt and design are fully reused from the 2020 version. It also uses the same 3.0 articulation system and includes the same accessories: several hands, heads, and a ki blast effect.
The key differences between this 2024 SDCC version and the original 2020 release are the box and, most notably, the color scheme. While the 2020 version sticks closely to the anime colors, this exclusive version features a reddish color palette with metallic paint for the clothing and a reddish shading on the skin.
At listacompletade.com, we recommend the original version over this one — but compare prices, because essentially, it’s the same figure with just a different color treatment.
