This 2023 S.H. Figuarts - Frieza Second Form figure brings us the tyrant in his second transformation, just as we saw him in DBZ during the Namek saga. It’s a large-sized figure, featuring an entirely new design and sculpt; it also incorporates the 3.0 articulation system, which gives a figure of this size impressive mobility.
This articulated figure – Frieza Second Form – was released in 2023 as a Tamashii Web Exclusive, being the 142nd figure in the S.H. Figuarts Dragon Ball collection.
Tamashii set out to release all of Frieza's forms or transformations, and as of 2025, among all the Frieza figures, the only one still missing is his Black form, which has only appeared in the Dragon Ball Super manga. With this release, we got his second form, just as seen in Dragon Ball Z. Prior to this figure's launch, we already had his Golden form, Final form, and First form.
Its design and sculpt are completely new, and it features the 3.0 articulation system. For a figure of this size (almost 20 cm tall), it offers excellent mobility.
In terms of accessories, it includes a chromed 4-star Namekian Dragon Ball, 2 pairs of feet, several hands (one of them making a “2” or “victory” gesture), and interestingly, 2 heads with separate faceplates for each. However, the difference between the two heads is unclear, aside from the pins that connect the faces.
From listacompletade.com, we fully recommend this figure—especially if you aim to collect all of this villain’s transformations. Just make sure to find it at a fair price.
