How did the 'Battle Pack' line of the Dragon Stars Series from Dragon Ball originate?

During the 2019 San Diego and New York Comic Cons, Bandai released exclusively for sale at those events two two-figure packs, 'Jiren vs Goku' and 'Gogeta vs Broly'. The figures were the same as those previously released in their regular line but with a shinier repaint. In 2020 and 2021, they repeated the experiment, and it seems to have been a success, as from that moment on, this parallel line of Dragon Stars Series figures was born.

What characterizes this line within the collection?

This line is characterized by being a two-figure pack, usually featuring characters that are rivals or companions. Additionally, they often come with a ki effect for one of the characters. Another point is that these figures have already been released before, but with slight changes to their facial expressions. Other than that, they are the same figures, just in a two-pack.
