The Dragon Stars Series and Bandai, within their releases for Daima, have brought us the 'mini' figures of Goku and Vegeta. These smaller figures are not cheaper than their adult versions (around $30), but they make up for it by including more accessories.

For example, Goku 'mini' comes with 6 hands, 1 unsheathed staff, another for sheathing, and the case for his Nyoibo. Vegeta, on the other hand, comes with only 4 hands (the usual amount), but includes a ki attack effect to simulate the Galick Ho, which he uses frequently in this saga and size.

As for the sculpts, DS and Bandai have outdone themselves with this Saiyan duo, introducing new architecture for the small-bodied figures. This brings us to the topic of scale.

Scale is something that this brand hasn’t adhered to with almost any figure. Just take a look at figures like Kid Boo, who is too tall, or Broly, who is too small. And with these 'mini' figures, they haven’t strayed from this either: they are quite tall compared to an adult Goku, but it should be recognized that they improve upon figures like Gotenks or Kid Boo.
