Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot didn’t stay limited to the main story; over time, several DLCs have been released, allowing players to relive classic moments and explore new stories. In this post, I will review all the additional content released so far and explain what each adds to the game.
Whether you play Kakarot on PlayStation 4/5, Xbox One/Series, PC, or Nintendo Switch 1/2, this page will be useful to see the full list of DLCs and their details, regardless of the platform, since the game and its content are identical across all formats.

Which “version” or “season” of the game it belongs to: This DLC is not part of a major story-driven season pass (like Season Pass 1 or 2), but rather a smaller additional content focused on transportation/items. The PlayStation 2 Slim was the second model of the PS2 released by Sony in 2004, standing out from its predecessor by being much smaller and lighter.
In terms of technical capabilities, the reduced size meant removing some expansion slots and the hard drive, but it improved in stability, efficiency, and bug fixes.
This PS2 Slim model includes several console revisions, ranging from SCPH-70000 to SCPH-79000.

Movie Costume Pack DLC is the fourth DLC, although it was released before the third one, as it wasn’t included or scheduled with the Season Pass. This DLC does not add any characters or story content—only cosmetic items, such as Goku’s outfit with Whis’ symbol and other costumes from the DBZ: Resurrection 'F' movie.
Dragon Ball Xenoverse is a special edition that includes additional game content, specifically a DLC to unlock Super Saiyan 4 Vegeta and two Frieza skins for your avatar.

Future Saga Chapter 3 is the twentieth DLC for the video game Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 and the third of the sixth Season Pass, called the Future Saga Pack Set.
This DLC includes, among other things, 2 new playable characters: Golden Frieza (Ultra Supervillain) and Broly (Dragon Ball Super version); 1 new story arc, missions, attacks, outfits, and 1 additional stage set in Conton City, featuring Cheelai & Broly.

Dragon Ball Z: Shin Butōden, released in 1995 for the Sega Saturn in Japan, was a 2D fighting game developed by Arc System Works and published by Bandai. It is part of the Butōden series, focused on one-on-one arcade-style battles, featuring special attacks and iconic techniques from the anime. The game included story modes and versus for two players, with stages representing the series and alternative routes depending on the chosen character.
Its style and mechanics are similar to Dragon Ball Z: Ultimate Battle 22, released for PlayStation in 1995, as both recreate 2D battles with classic saga characters, use energy bars for special attacks, and aim to deliver an anime-like experience. The main difference is that Shin Butōden better utilized the smoothness and 2D graphics of the Sega Saturn, while Ultimate Battle 22 had more limited animations on the PlayStation, though it offered similar multiplayer support.
